Interesting, Do you always wear a red tie to work?
If you were not her best friend, then something was wrong in my book.
I only own one red tie, but I rarely wear it.
Interesting point about the "best friend", however I do believe it's possible to have more than one equally best friends. :-)

No, she got it. I think she was more perplexed in the humour of how I approached the subject. Heh.
I made up my mind days and days ago. I think she knew it was coming.
But you know... when you actually hear it, it still can be surprising.
