Hehehe, thanks! Don't get me wrong - she's still hot - but yeah, it was interesting to notice how many imperfections we overlook when rose-tinted love-goggles are fastened firmly upon our face.

Ahhh, Ms Fits! I knew there was something I forgot! ... I'm on it. ;-) Cheers.

but what happens if your vision is permantly rose coloured??

Kerry: It sure does. :-)

Lexi: Hmm. Then you're either seriously happy or seriously unhappy, depending on the situation, I guess.

They're hard to take off though.

Sometimes they stay wedged on for years, and the only way to prise them off is with a new pair.

Insightful as ever Jeut. Great stuff.

JackT: Oh there would have been a LOT of pouting, hahahaha. ;-)

Winters: Thanks, and excellent point - I know in the past I've simply swapped glasses without taking them off. I can't wait for my next pair, though. ;-)

Luanna: Hehehe, cheers! I found it pretty funny myself, too! Haha.

Hahaha! Harsh! Love it.

Steph: Hahaha, thanks! *grins*

Kerry: Nah, it's not just you. I could see some serious uses for the Reality glasses... just as long as the reality isn't too harsh. ;-)

Hilarious! Love it!

That's the reason why after each break up I take residence at the gym - I want the guy to see me on the street and think 'wow, i used to have that!' I’m one of the rare girls that will NEVER ask if her ass looks big cuz in the words of sir-mix-a-lot “I got back”

I would like the benefit of hindsight glasses, There are soo many things that I regret in the past that I cannot fix now. However taking off my self–critique glasses that I ware everywhere, all the time would help me at the moment I guess. I’m guessing Ms ex Jeut does not read this blog, I hope so, for her sake!!
Reading this post with my investigative glasses on, you look to have thrown out the rose coloured glasses whilst at work (the tie gives this away) What at work has made you change, Is your work a good place to reflect or are there distractions at work?

Haha - I just love the way you drew her back bumps...And I've always liked her hairdo!

Is any chance that she could stumble across your blog? I bet if she did she would regret letting you slip through her fingers.

Don't go losing all your creativity now you're heading on up out of the heartbreak! Keep scribbling Jeut, this stuff is brilliant

Brilliant! How mean we become when dumped, and how ugle the dumper becomes... hehe :)

Natalie: Hehe. The point was that it didn't matter when we were dating. Actually, it wouldn't matter again - I'm not *that* superficial - but it's something I didn't take notice of until after we'd broken up.

And yes, as you might've guessed, I've been hitting the gym too! Haha.

Ne-Wo: Haha. You're definitely reading too much into it. :-P The reason I'm wearing a tie is because we broke up in my lunchbreak at work.

M: Finally! :-D

Jayne: Her humps? Her humps, her humps, her humps? Her lovely lady lumps? :-P Haha. Thanks.

Yes. The online community is very small and I'd never discount the possibility of her stumbling across my blog. However I think regret would be the last emotion through her mind.

Thanks! To be honest, I never intended the breakup comics to be lasting this long. But hey, I'm drawing what I feel, and as long as I'm feeling I'm drawing.

Honeysmack: Thanks. :-)

Karen: Haha, awwww, I honestly wasn't trying to be mean! Maybe in a playful way, but not in a spiteful way. However - you're right - I was facinated by the way her physical appearance to me changed when the emotions changed.

She's still far from ugly, though. :-) heh.

That it is. ;-)

Brilliant! And I love the third scene where you show how big her ass looks! ;)

But seriously, how true. We are so happy to disguise imperfections and make excuses for others. The minute we take those glasses off, not only do we see the person for what they are, but we see our own insecurities.

Hahahahaha thanks! ;-) OK... maybe it's not THAT big in real-life, but you get the point. :-P Hehehehe.

Yeah, great point. Breakups are always a good way to take the rose tint off ourselves too. But it's all a learning experience! Haha.

GOD this is so awesome b/c it puts into perspective for me how the husband LOVES me in spite of any (coff-coff) flaws I MAY have.

Oh dear, I hope this doesn't happen with my boy.

He doesn't have a big butt, but you know what I mean.

At 8:32 AM, Blogger jeut said...

PiCkLeS: Hehe, awww! Again, as I said earlier, she's still hot! Haha. I didn't mean it to be harsh! Her ass is OK, alright? Haha. I'm just saying I *honestly* never saw it before. It wasn't politeness, it was really rose-tinted glasses. :P

~d: I'm sure those flaws don't matter because he doesn't even notice. ;) Aint love grand?

Susanne: Unfortunately I left my crystal ball on the bus, so I can't comment on the future. But yes, I hope it doesn't happen to you either!

That's harsh! :(

At 10:03 AM, Blogger jeut said...

As I've said before... she's still hot, and her ass really isn't huge or anything. BUT when she complained about herself in the past (as most girls do) I honestly never saw what she was complaining about - hence the rose tinted glasses.

After breaking up, though, I began to see her in a different light. It doesn't make her any less attractive (well, not to anyone else at least) but y'know, before I couldn't see it and now I do. Maybe I was just looking past it, and now I have no reason to? Who knows.

Really, for the millionth time, I wasn't trying to be harsh. I promise you she's still an attractive girl. The point of the comic wasn't her ass, it was my glasses. Haha.
